Hi!  My name is Mark M3LXS….  Welcome to my web page courtesy of Keith 2E0ISK.  After a lot of stick and gentle persuasion from Richard 2E0GYD I have finally got my act together and decided to add some content to my page.  After all, I can’t have Richard the youngest member of Warrington Amateur Radio Club getting ahead of me with his website…  You have to keep these young rebel operators in their place you know!
 
Anyway, a little bit about me…  Oh yes, I recently became licensed in December 2005 and since then I have bags under my eyes, an even bigger beer belly than I had previously and a wife nagging me to go to bed before 2:30 AM… This ham radio is wreaking havoc into my social life.  I no longer watch TV, play excessively on online gaming or go to work on time, I seem to spend a lot of time waffling very long overs into the wee small hours!  It’s all Keith and Richard’s fault but then again I just can’t resist their stimulating company.
 
Oh yes, I better mention I’m married to Lorraine   M3MQA… She’s okay about me using the radio as long as it’s not when she wants to use it that is.  I am seriously thinking of making a his and hers radio shack… I can’t be doing with pink logbooks hanging around the shack, nail files and lipstick on my microphone.  Especially when it’s not my colour!
 
Hopefully, we will get the hang of this radio malarkey and be able to enjoy every aspect of it.  I am just starting out and thought it was time to tell you a little bit about me.  73’s for now and watch this space…
